How much should you pay for insurance?

Fire = usually included in home insurance, $600 a year
Health = $300 a month for a family
Earthquake = don't buy it, it's a rip off, $1500 a year
Life = only buy term life, $300 a year for a million
Disability = don't buy it, its a rip off $100 a month
These prices are specific to Prius drivers only.

 

I pay about 35 per month in Indiana for liability and uninsured motorist on my 2005 Prius. I did find out that Prius insurance is more expensive than some other cars my previous was Ford Crown Vic which was 10/month cheaper. Not sure why Prius would be more.

Homeowners I pay $800/year on aprox 200k home. Health I pay 70 every 2 weeks for just me. Life I just have what my employer gives me for free but seeing it is $300/year for a million I may check into that. Property taxes I pay 1100 per year.
