I am pretty sure the 25,700 includes TTL. My 26k included TTL from the same dealer

Just got a base model 2 for $22429 (OTD at $24738, based upon 7.25% tax) from Simi Valley Toyota. They would not match Carmax's trade-in offer on my MDX so I'm taking back to Carmax. Could've paid less by going elsewhere but wanted to finalize purchase asap. Easy going salesperson who didn't play any games:

    Notes:
(Used Amex and Edmunds to get quotes.)
Hamer Toyota: base base was cheaper yet their OTD was over $200 more.
Manhattan Beach Toyota: cheapest of all but they took 4 days to respond. In fact, I finally got a response tonight...after I purchased mine. :)
Carson Toyota: I really wish Dianne had my specific color combo in stock as I would have LOVED to have bought from her - the quickest email response (manner of minutes!) and was upfront.

bought a 2011 prius 2 $24937 out the door. floor and cargo mat, wheel locks, window etch and hands-free blue tooth dealer installed Pretty new blue color.. They had to swap with another dealer to get my color. Another dealer was $300 lower, but agressive and annoying to deal with. These guys were closer to me too. Not sure as good a deal as some of you guys received. Is it? But New york area has higher overhead costs.

As already confirmed by Vegeto626, $25,700 includes TTL. It is the total final price I wrote out the check for. Perhaps a Prius shopping visit to San Diego would save you $$$. :)

It should be possible to go back to the dealership and ask them to take the Karr alarm out and refund your $399 ( plus tax) ?

You may want to describe your experience to Toyota Corp when they get in touch with you to seek your feedback on your purchase experience.

Hoping you get your Karr Alarm money back.

I am to take delivery of a new Prius tomorrow.
It's a European model called Premium.
Sadly, a car is slightly more taxed over here..

My grand total runs up to 376000 NOK, with an exchange rate of 5.92, that would amount to about USD 63,000..

Already called him within 24 hrs of purchase and he said that the Karr alarm cannot be deactivated and the loan is sent to Toyota finance.

I'll contact Toyota Corp. Thanks for the advice!

I just bought a Prius V (trim 5) in San Diego for $28,632 (before T&L). The only option added was the floor mats. I think that's $700 below invoice. Is that a good deal?

All I did was e-mail them my best TrueCar offer and they beat it by $200 right away. Went down and picked up the car after spending an eternity with the finance guy trying to sell me all the extras. He was annoyed I didn't go for anything extra.

He was able to beat my financing offer so I ended up going with Toyota Financial instead of my bank.

What's up with the Karr system? When I said no, they said they have to uninstall the system. All they did was deactivate it. As far as I know it's still "installed" or can it really be removed in 15 seconds by the sales person?

On 12/22/11 I purchased a new 2011 Prius Three without Nav.

    $25979 MSRP
    $2300 Discount
    $1000 Rebate

    $22679 Net + TTL

I made the offer online on their site and they called back within 20 minutes and said ok. I drove 80 miles to Merced Toyota to get the deal.

My local Toyota dealer (7 miles away) was $1000 higher.
I showed my local dealer the adds I printed from online with lower prices. He laughed at me and said that those dealers were just playing games and that I would never get one for that price. Now I am laughing at him ! He still has 9 2011 Prius left on his lot and Merced has none. Go figure.

DCH Toyota of Torrance. Look for Bill Vas, he is really very nice guy. No pressure transaction. Both the sales man and Finance Manager were great. Just to confirm that this is 2011 Prius 4 and not 2012.

Yes. It includes destination charge. ( Only thing it does not include is TAX and DMV Registration charges ).
