How often do you guys need to inflate your tires?

    They should be inflated to the pressure recommended by Toyota. Mine is 35 front and 33 rear. Pressure should be checked once a month.

    That jump wasn't just from tire pressure, or even mostly from tire pressure. Other things contributed, probably including driver behavior.

    Is there a chart or study based on test data that shows improved mpg with higher inflation pressure? I hate the way my car rides and handles with overinflated tires. Just going from 42/40 to 38/37 gives me an improved ride with maybe a minor to no decrease in gas mileage. YMMV
