It appears that the ultra-base G2 without rear wiper uses the same wiper switch as a Camry of the same year.

As I have eliminated the rear wiper, I'd like to swap in the Camry switch.

Anybody have any clues how to swap the switch?

    Thanks.

    Can post a picture?
You mean the switch attached to the motor of the wiper, or?

Oh, I'm sorry. I meant the switch on the steering column! The one from the Camry eliminates the rear wiper function, because Camrys are sedans.

There are a lot of steps to do.
Have a look in the attachments.

If you want details for the steps referring to other chapters of the manual (the blue text), I can offer them, too. Just let me know! Screenshot_2017-12-11-12-04-32.jpg Screenshot_2017-12-11-12-04-40.jpg

Wow. Of all the cars I've owned (and that's a lot!) this is the first that makes you pull the bag and wheel to change a wiper switch. Ugh.

    But thanks for the info!

If you look hard enough, you might find a way without wheel removal. I had my light and wiper switches off (Gen 3) and I did it by removing the wheel as instructed, and a whole assembly with both switches came off, but if I remember right, it looked as if each switch could also be removed from that assembly. I make no guarantees, but there might be a way.
