There is a small tear / deep scratch in a what steering wheel of a Prius 4 that I'd like to fix. It's at the top of the wheel and is annoying to the touch. I wonder if a but if superglue or something like that would do the job. Thanks! 20191217_110935.jpeg

There have been some threads on PriusChat - I think some went to their dealers and got a replacement under warranty.

Looks like what my wife does to steering wheels with her rings.

To me it looks like a bubble, not a tear. Maybe a deep depression.
Yes, there is a thread on steering wheel covering failure.
Bubbling would be a replacement IMO.

If you are saying it is a tear you could certainly try super glue.
I would also say a heat gun and leather working "bone" tools may aid the repair.

    Good luck.

I think dried superglue would be more annoying to the touch than the bubble.

I've had the same thing happening to my 2016 Prius leather steering wheel at about 12 o'clock, to include some open peeling. Brought to the dealer - no longer under warranty - and they suggested keeping it out of the sun (a bit late to make this suggestion!), but had no dealer way to repair it. I've used some super glue on a toothpick to get under some open edges and have liked the results, though I haven't tried anything with the bubbled areas.
