700m in 3 minutes - sounds like a brisk walk.

Well done! No wear and tear on tires or brakes either!

I actually managed to do that driving normally. Also the score is not related to EV% usage. It is related to how you accelerate, brake and glide.
I also managed to get a score of 12! :D

I was going to post how I did my first perfect score, but I found yours, so I think it should go here. Pretty much the same situation. Easy peasy.

So the system is pretty much useless? I mean, displayed mpg has always summed up (albeit with rose-tinted glasses) how you're doing.

It meant to coach those that are driving hybrids for the first time or want to learn how to get great mpg. For the rest of us, the ECO score may not agree but if you can net high mpg, I'd ignore it. Could someone who got 60mpg and 70/100 get 65mpg and 100/100? Maybe.

I think that if the engine starts or you turn on A/C it is impossible to get 100.

    Nexus 10 ?

Ok, I can see that. In other words: it can be cheated, but in regular driving it'll still gives good feedback.

I gotta quit being a curmudgeon, lol.

I've gotten 99 and 100 before (100 just once but 98 and 99 2 or 3 times) so it is possible. This is on a commute drive.

It does. It's quicker feedback than the Consumption Screen because it resets every time you come to a complete stop. The Cons. screen is at intervals (1 or 5 min intervals... or 5km intervals)

One thing about the score is, braking gently for a turn and then moderately re-accelerating is seen as a failure to maintain speed efficiently.

Gently coming to a near complete stop, making the turn, and then moderately re-accelerating is seen as an efficient stop and efficient acceleration.

Guess which one uses less energy?

I wonder what it would think of slowing to dead-slow for speed bumps spaced oh about every 20', in every dang parking lot and lane around here. I loath them things... :cautious:

Makes sense to me. It should be less than 100 for sure.

As "efficent" the AC may be...there are losses and will require some kind of work to make the AC operate.

I was a Domino's delivery guy for a little while and I got really good at using the electric drive chain and perfecting my driving skills on average I would score anywhere from 80 to 99 for my scores.

I managed a 95 this morning. It was a 9.4 mile commute with the A/C running but not very hard. I hit every light green, which I don't think is even legal in the Tampa area. Just three stops for stop signs and surrounded by not very urgent drivers for a change.

I got this back in June. Not bad over 8 miles.

I just noticed the other day that those ECO-Start, ECO-Cruise and ECO-Stop bar graphs all kept re-booting (going back to zero blocks) as I'm driving, is that normal ?

Those bars reset every time you accelerate from a complete stop.

The image I posted is the trip one that you can see when you put the Prius in Park.
