I just replaced the MFD on a 2008 Touring model, and while the Climate button on the MFD works, it is totally worn out, so you can't see that it is the Climate button. The button on the old MFD works fine, but I don't know how to remove it, and don't want to risk breaking it while trying. How do you remove those buttons? I'm guessing it's fairly similar to removing a button on a keyboard, but I'm just not sure.
    Thanks!

Did you ever find out how to remove them?

I just went out there at figured it out. Take a flat thin plastic pry tool to the bottom of the button you want to remove. Pry up and the bottom will pop out. Then take your finger and grab the top of the button and the button will come out. It's almost like the buttons are on a rubber rocker. Not hard to remove.
