How to Remove the MFD from a. 2007 Prius

    Can anyone tell me how to remove the MFD from a 2007 Prius! Can I simply swap it for one with the navigation system or is tyere more to it than that?

    Easy to remove but often the AC vent covers get very brittle, so don't be surprised if one or more break, especially the two in the middle. Here's a pretty clear video of the process.


    You can't just put in any MFD. You'll need to do some research to see which one or ones will match with yours. Your car, for example may not have the connectors for the maps since there's a GPS involved. If you post the part number that's on the back on this thread, maybe someone can help with that. IIRC, they all start with 46 and are five digits.

    Or, you can send it to the guy in the video for repair as some others here have done.
