Hi all - appreciate all the advice.

A friend who has experience with high voltage stuff and I installed the "New Prius Battery". It took some Q&A with them to figure it all out, but it's been running great since.

I put my used modules on Craigslist in October and no bites...

I just checked the voltage on them again and the good ones have gone from 7.8 to ~7.58

They need to be over 7.6 to be of value correct? Are these worthless now?

    Thanks!

Hopefully you still have them bolted together.
Refurbish and load test them per the instructions, write down the capacity’s then sell them on eBay. Batteries with documented refurbishments should get more attention than random ones.

Do not charge them unless you clamps them tightly.
Otherwise they will expand and be damaged.

Thanks - I'll check it out, but they aren't bolted together since I had to disassemble to put in the New Prius Battery kit.

You can fit them together then use wooden boards on the ends and clamp them together. I think it talks about that in that thread. Just use 2 bad ones for the ends before the wood, then if they get messed up it’s no big deal.

One thing to remember about your current car is that the HV battery can no longer be turned into Toyota as a core.
That means whoever tries to go to Toyota with your aftermarket pack is going to be charged and additional $1,350 when replacing the battery pack.

Unless of course you install/provide them a bunch of cheap (dead?) modules to stick back in the pack before it is turned in.

Do not sell this car without disclosing your modification. That would be really uncool.
