hi there I have been driving my new Prius 2016 since a few weeks now... and I love it! the HUD is very cool, but I wish I could add navigator indications to it... the Youtube toyota USA channel gives nice instructions on how to set it, but unfortunately on my car the only option I see under "Vehicle Settings" is RSA, as well as "Maintainance System", but no HUD Any hints anyone? thanks Sergio
Some of our European members have mentioned that that feature has been removed in Europe for the new Prius. We don't know why.
thanks tideland it really bothers me when I see that something is possible with software but it is deliberately stopped, for whatsoever reason any chance to update to a different software version (i.e. US version)? I guess I would lose warranty though
On the UK version, you can get the navigation turns to appear on the MFD (but not the HUD) if you set the MFD screen to compass from the menus. It only shows after you have set a destination on the Nav.
That's interesting. Ours will show the turn guidance automatically (if you have the HUD turned off or if your car does not have the HUD) . We don't need to scroll to the compass screen.
I double checked and unfortunately no way to show directions in the MFD as well on Prius sold in Italy This is so dumb!!!
That is the reason why I avoided paying extra money for Nav option. Very dumb decision from Toyota Europe.
