My HUD (or radio, no one was confused but Grit, so this is for them) has been acting up, maps stopped working, it started not recognizing the DVD, but the stereo, backup camera, & BT was still working.

Today, however, I got a different "no DVD" alert and nothing works.

I have 150k miles and it's hot AF in SoCal, so maybe it's just bit the dust.

Could it possibly be a fuse issue? Or is it replacement time? 20220812_123310.jpg

Not a heads up display. HUD projects to the driver side windshield directly

It's right behind the fold-down screen. But if you can't get to the setup screen to tell it to eject ....

I can access it with the standard cd eject, which is super weird as when it's functional you have the go though the menus to get the map dvd to eject.

But it doesn't matter if the disk is in or not, it's frozen on that screen AND nothing else functions (unlike before, where map didn't work but I still had the stereo & backup camera)
