Huge knocking noise between engine and cvt

    Yes, that one. Whenever I remove that connector, I tape up the connector using duct tape or something reasonably waterproof.

    That connector isn’t too bad to release. If you want to try a difficult one, try releasing the one for the inverter pump.

    I have never released any of those connectors but I have learned there is a learning curve. Once you understand how it works it get easier. I'm thinking Ford fuel filters and A/C hoses, both got me once but not again.
