    Lithium depending on form can be extracted using a salt dome mine

    would not require human hands or traditional mining in that case


    bleh hard rock open pit, unless they are gonna backfill those never work , guarantee they will get more than lithium in the mix

    Depending on the battery chemistry, it might need the the lithium carbonate from hard rock deposits. The cheaper LFP batteries do. It might be preferred for others.
