Routers in areas perceived to have bad IP addresses shouldn't be discriminated against either.

Apparently it is OK to discriminate against packets that are implementing https://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc3514.txt AKA the 'evil bit'

I'm still shocked that certain networks refuse IPv6 addresses!

Unfortunately at work, we currently advertise our assigned addresses but ignore them as far as I know.
My son & I would like to use IPv6 (he set up the dual stack network where he works) but our ISP (Shentel) does not support IPv6.

BTW, I emphasized the humor tag to keep this out of FHOPolitics. It would be humorous for some clueless Democrat to insist on a congressional investigation, though. ;)

Funny you should mention Shentel! I had a weird support email to answer that I suspected was about a non-supported device. I whois'd the IP, which was in their block. Sender must have been ESL.

I have been told that. I had all my service with Ting for quite a while first on Sprint and then T-Mobile.
Those networks both have spotty service in my area so I move all but my home phone to my son’s Verizon plan.
