Is any of the two better than the other? Are there holes in both brands?

I guess you mean floor mats. I am interested in a liner for the rear, when all seats are down. SO, I'm interested in quality and fit of these or others, as well.

Yes. I mean the floormats. I have a husky weatherbeater in my regular prius and liked it so much.

I bought the Weathertech at the dealers and asked for the new buyers discount. They gave me one! My driver's side mat has the hole. My other floor mats and the trunk have no holes. My trunk mat only covers the space when the seat is up in 5 passenger mode.

That's what I need to know - holes in floor mats. Looks I'm going with husky. Thanks mike for the info.

There is one hole on the driver's side for the attachment that was made necessary by the recall for mats interfering with the accelerator pedal. Wouldn't be safe without a way to attach it to the seat support structure. Just like the carpet floor mats from Toyota.

The "holes" are filled by the floor locking mechanism. Nothing is exposed. Bought the set (front/rear sets and cargo area) and I've been happy with it. Just wish I could sell the carpeted floor mats that the dealer made me purchase with my v to recover some of the cost!

Took the plunge with the husky liner after getting a good price for it.

I kept all the dealer mats on under the Weathertech except the drivers side mat. I figured added sound and temperature insulation. The drivers side I put away for resale time.

I had Weathertech mats in my '05 but stuff gets through the hole even though it's filled with the hook ('05) or the locking thing on the Prius V. I have Husky Liners in my '07 Ram and love them.

I bought a Prius V 3 tonight and already ordered the Husky Liners for it since they don't have the hole. Saved $20 over Weathertech too! Front, Back, And cargo liners all for $230 online.

The newer Prius has a different type of mat attachment. The area around where the liner attaches to the floor is raised. The Weathertech liners fit quite well. I'm very happy with them.

My coworker got the Husky liners for his truck and had to replace them in about two years. They started splitting and cracking.

You're coworker should have read the warranty. "Husky Liners Guarantees to the original purchaser of husk Liners products that they will not break or tear under normal usage during the life of the motor vehicle in/ on which they are installed....."

Not knocking the Weathertech as I think they were nicer material but even with the raised edges around the hole and the hook / screw plug in the hole, after a couple winters you will have a nasty stain under the hook. (I can only speak for my experience on a Gen II Prius of course.

Going on three years in my truck and when I hose them off, the Husky Liners look good as new though I was originally skeptical of the quality (lighter weight material).

I like the "text" of the Husky brand warranty better than Weathertech. I quote "text" because I have not experienced filing a claim with Husky. I bought them over Weathertech for that reason. So far I am happy. There is a bump where the attachment on the driver's mat is, no hole in ours.
