My Ecu fried the red plug and disingrated 5 pins. Can I install a used unit? Will something need to be reprogrammed? Does anyone repair these units? Thank you.

Yes, the ecus are replaceable with no additional programming required. The best thing you can do is purchase a new wire frame #2 from Toyota for about $60. It comes with the orange plastic frame, sensor harness, plug and new busbars, all preassembled.

Replaced with a used unit from EBay. Same part number and can report that everything is good. Thank you.
