Using Adrian Black's spreadsheet for Xgauges, I am monitoring the four HV battery temperature sensors and have noted that BT2 is about 2 degrees Centigrade higher than BT1, BT3, and BT4 during normal driving in our 2012 hatchback. So I am conducting a poll to see what other folks monitoring the HV battery temps are experiencing.
Does anyone know if increases in the HV fan speed are triggered by the MAXIMUM of these four temps, the AVERAGE of these four temps, or something else in the system?

BT2 is always the highest. It is in the middle of the pack so makes sense. From what I see the HV battery fan is triggered by the max temp so I typically monitor BT2 and BFM and it is fairly repetitive.
