Up and running!!! Yes. Thank you guys!!! You really are the Prius experts! The latest is that after all, I did miss the 3rd. step on the safety HV battery red connection. Just pushed it down to the lock position. Then did the double start button push after getting all the light warning, and the magic happened The credit is all yours.

I do have some new codes (probably old but only come after the car is started and running...) New disclosure: I have driven this Prius with the engine icon ON for long time. Now that I have the OBDII / Torque App. gadgets. I see the codes P1123 and P1121 It seems to be a sensor for the cooling pump... Will work on this when I get a chance.

Going back to the HV battery fix: The battery seems very "happy" with new harness and well tighten clean contacts. The micro switch cleaning product and battery contact cream will probably help preventing future corrosion.

I used the battery I just bought as it is... It went right to 14V after driving for a few minutes.... It has something like 48 moths prorated warranty... the CCA is very good! More that the original Toyota one. The battery I just took out is probably still usable. It charged to 12.3 Volts at Autoparts, but they said the CCA was bellow the rated number for the battery....

After driving for about 15 minutes the HV bat. was showing full charge and each block was fluctiating between 16V and 18V - all blocks with very similar voltages - the fluctiations did nit look erratic - they ware proportional to the acceleration. The fuel efficiency average went back to 50 mpg ! It was down to like 43 mpg the last months before this fix! Congratulations on getting her fixed.

Just a couple of comments on your new 12 V battery:
You should always fully charge a new battery before installing. That 14 V reading I presume was taken with the car in READY? If it was, it tells you 2 things: 1) The charging circuit of the DC/DC converter is working. 2) Your new battery is not fully charged. To get it fully charged in the car, You might need to drive for up to 16-20 hours. When the 12 V battery gets towards a full charge, you will see the voltage reading drop down into the 13.x V range. 13.2 V indicates a fully charged battery.
Yes, correct, that battery was done. You have made the right choice changing it out.

Just a comment on your Torque Pro: You need to install the Prius specific PID file, so you can see the correct Pxxxx, Bxxxx, Cxxxx or Uxxxx codes. Do a search of the Gen 2 PriusChat forums for details on how to do this, as I don't have or use Torque Pro.

Here are the troubleshooting trees for your codes:
DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART – SFI SYSTEM (Scroll down to P1121 and P1123 – Page 05–60)
DTC | P1121 | Coolant Flow Control Valve Position Sensor Circuit Stuck
DTC | P1120/P1122/P1123 | Coolant Flow Control Valve Position Sensor Circuit/Low/High

In all likelihood, the code to focus on is the P1121. It is quite a common fault on these cars.

    All the best.

Thanks! I did install the Prius PID files and created a custom screen using those for the battery blocks voltages, I will look for the ones related to the coolant... The scan seams to be generic. Thanks for the codes file. That will definitely help me fixing the P1121.

Will get the battery fully charged then. Thanks again.

    Awesome help in this forum!
