Hybrid Battery Cell Replacement

    Hoping someone may know what is going on with my 2007 Gen 2 Prius...

    I recently replaced a bad cell myself, and drove the car with no issues. Then I put it all back together, and It's now doing the exact same thing as it was with all the lights and driving like the hybrid batter is bad. I tested all the cells and they're all between 7.53 and 7.55.

    What else could be wrong with it? Do I need to replace the 12v battery? could it be a MAF sensor issue? The car was sitting for a while and has had to be jumped started several times to test-drive. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    If there are warning lights present on the dashboard then there should be codes in some of the car's electronic control units (computers).

    What scantool are you using, and what codes do you have from which ecu's?

    welcome!
    unfortunately, there is a lot more to battery reconditioning than just replacing a module. i suggest searching and reading up on it. there are many detailed expert threads here.

    Get the free Dr Prius app and post the results. Are any of the IR readings too high?
    Get the 12v battery checked at parts store after overnight charging with external charger. If you need it jumped repeatedly that’s the first thought.
