What about putting a fan with a thermistor and a relay with a second battery, the relay would charge the secondary battery when the vehicle is running.

This fan could go where the cabin vent exit is, which I believe is where the battery vents to anyway?

I would use a low power high CFM Noctua fan, would be quiet as well.

A good read. Worth reading for ideas.

If I can get my headliner removed, I wanna try a radiant barrier attached to the roof (metal side, with an air gap between it and the headliner). I already had plans to install ceramic film (no tint) on the windshield, but at $200 extra I opted to wait a month to let my finances breathe and just went with ceramic tint on the rest of the windows. I have a wireless temp sensor I can place in the car to test before and after.

I would also be willing to craft a wire that switches the fan to an alternate supply with the aforementioned thermistor. Relay a switch to have it change power and exhaust it out until the battery is drained. If current draw is too high the fan is PWM so I can vary the speed and play with that. If all else fails a Noctua fan running on a 100ah lifepo4 battery should be plenty of run time to exhaust out the rear vent flaps in the bumper, a solar panel somewhere would make the car more reliable as I would not have to degrade the cars systems to keep the cabin temps down. Heat soak will inevitably win though, slowing it down to a manageable air temp is the goal.

In hindsight a Tesla will self consume its power just to avoid advwrse extreme tempatures. You'd think it would be a smart idea for it to automatically drive itself into the shade

The web site does seem to say that—which sounds promising—but sure doesn't seem to say very much more than that. It's not like anywhere "individual BMS control" is a link to more information or anything. They don't seem to offer much in the way of tech specs.

So, it seems possible they have developed and brought to market a credible competing product to what mudder is working on. Maybe not easy to tell, though. Mudder has shown more of the work.

Its within reason why they dont show and tell. They dont want an oversaturated market of the technology to remain dominant. But there is nothing stopping someone from getting ahold of one and dismantling it.

FYI there is an account on here from vendor on PriusChat....thats how I came across these.
