Our 2006 Prius HV batt died at 14-years and about 195,000 miles.
In the absence of Prius v from the US market, we went with 2020 RAV4 HV last year.

I have always qualitatively felt Toyota must have improved HV batt reliability by around 2008/2009 model year. No proof, but there were so many Prii sold in those years, that we'd have an avalanche of batt failures, if the reliability was same as say 2006 MY.

Hi I cleaned out my hv battery fan and started to monitor my temperatures. Is it normal for sensor 1 and 3 to read the same but then sensor 2 be 4-5 degrees fahrenheit hotter consistently? Also, how can I learn what are good temperatures and resistance values? IMG_1818.png

Yes, the temperature sensors are in different positions on top of and underneath the pack. Whether the battery fan is on or not can also change the "balance"of the temperature readings.
