    I've not heard of anyone popping off the trim rings ...news to me :blink:

    But I did go out last night and pop one of them off. In a way, I like it because it takes off the awkward angles in the ring...and in another way, it almost cheapens the car.

    Today, I'm going to take all of them off, thorough wash the car, and take a look-see.
