Didn’t even know there was a hybrid app. I don’t think I need to see all information the battery and car is doing but it was cool to see once.

When you come to park your Prius can you just turn it off or do you have to press park first?

Just turn it off. It'll put itself in park. Although, I often put it in park and then look over my stats before shutting it down.

I have noticed I do that also. I was curious if you could just power off. That’s pretty cool you can just come to a stop press power over and e brake and your good. I donthe r brake almost subconsciously now.

Lots of people recommend using the emergency brake with all cars, but as for putting it in park, the car does that on its own if you don't do it. Pretty cool, I think. ;)

Car is guessing how far it will go based on past driving.

    Seriously? That is amazing...
So that means I drive pretty conservative right? I try to extend those ev miles as much as possible.

Yup. The best it can do is guess that your next trip will be similar to the previous one. That's not always the case, but the car has no way of knowing your plans. It's like they say in the stock market, past performance is not necessarily an indication of future performance.

Same is true of the distance to empty indicator. I just got back from a trip to North Carolina. The DTE indicated over 500 miles of range when I left home. Due to rain and 20-35 mph cross winds and driving 70-75 mph instead of city speeds, I got under 400 from miles that tank. Each tank on the trip predicted a lower DTE as it was adjusting to the "new normal."

Thank you for the write-up and everyone else for your help. This forum is awesome. I just got back from Vegas from socal for work and I got 58mpg going there and 78mpg coming up. (lots of downhill coming home)

I cleaned the egr tube, it did not have a much exhaust as I thought it would for 100k. I then took off the right rear tire to inspect the caliper bolts and previous owner/dealer must have lubed them up as they were completely clean and perfect grease like someone just did that maintenance last week. I did not inspect the front tires as I suspect those were done a well.

Mine came with the Toyota oem 110v plug. How do I locate a 220v plug for faster charging?

Why does the connector look like it has a 220v attachment or unattached that is?

Not sure what you mean. Can you post a picture? Mine just has a regular 120V plug on it.

Thanks for the picture. That's not an adaptor. It's factory original. Here's mine.
