Someone vomited in my car on the door and seat
I had it professionally cleaned but now I notice some discoloration on the door where the vomit was (the cloth part)
Is there some way I can fix that?
Do I need to buy a new door panel?

Also I am looking for a recommendation for seat covers not super nice but something that would look ok and protect the upholstery

    Thanks

This is why I always go for leather in my taxis.
I wonder if the detergent used has caused the discolour? Most of the time vomit will not strip the colour out of interiors.

    Limo taxi Uber?
What are the odds someone will vomit in your car again?

I would not buy a new door panel. guessing $400
Your call whether a used one at a $100 cost is worth it to you.

Further cleaning? Perhaps some Woolite (sp) or foaming upholstery cleaner as what you are describing is cleaner residue. But good change is was the acids of the body fluids that discolored the panel and in this case you must live with it, replace it, or even perhaps dye or reupholster the interior.

Again, what are the odds someone will vomit in your car again?

    Good luck with your decision.

Uber should PAY for the vomit damage. You can probably find a door panel from a wreck at a reasonable price

    Hate vomit? Don't we all.

Try OxyClean? That's my answer for everything these days, lol.

Jay I don't think it's detergent because the discoloration matches the vomit pattern
    Kenny
If I could get a replacement panel that matches perfectly for 100 I think I might pay
The odds of someone vomiting in my care again are very high as I drive drunk people home a lot.
