There are a couple of reasons I have decided on the Gen2. First and foremost, I fit. I'm 400 pounds and that weird center console setup the Gen 3 has makes a very crunched ride for me. The Gen 2 is WAY more comfortable. Secondly, it's a matter of what the insurance gives me for my totaled 05 Corolla. It may be in great shape for an 05 with less than 120K on it, but it's still an 05. Top KBB for it is $4800ish so I'm going to have to really bring my A game to the table.

As far as the battery goes, I've gotten trained on testing and rebuilding the cells so it won't be but a few hours to get it setup to top condition.

They totaled the Corolla on Saturday. Will be talking to the adjuster tomorrow, hopefully.
