I have had this car since new. I think there were 2 recalls. The hybrid battery was replaced at 85,000 miles free of charge. It took 1 day for the replacement battery This car never had a leak. The highest repair cost was $500.00. I replaced the brakes at 185,000 miles. New pads, front rotors, rear drums were fine.

The car has 2 door dings. Never in an accident, but I did hit a tire tread and small animal. Broke the front black shield. Replaced it myself both times for less than $50.00. The car does use oil. The headlights are faded.

Still gets 42 to 45 mpg. The seats are still comfortable. The radio plays well. The dash does go blank every once in awhile. I have a procedure to get it back on.

Bought another Prius in 2013. 70,000 miles. Everything is fine.

Ordered a 2023 Prius. Just waiting for it to come in. Could take 6 months.

I have a 2022 Ford Maverick Hybrid truck. Has 7000 miles. 2 recalls that I have been waiting 90 days to get repaired. They say they don’t have the parts. Brakes are terrible. They are grabby. Worst brakes I have ever had on a car. Interior scratches easily. Paint is terrible. Lots of chips. Truck does look nice. I wonder if this truck will ever get to 200,000 miles.

Prius is the best car I have ever owned.
