I love cruise control, but will I do better without it?

    Curious, I get better with an NHW11:

    In fact, the only time I've gotten below 50 MPG at 65 mph has been when the outside temperature is below 35F.

    something is wrong there. if you dont have a headwind of 10-15 mph or its the dead of winter, you should be doing better, check engine air filter, tire pressure, oil fill level and wind direction.

    around here, even in winter (granted not real cold, but in upper 30's and 40's) on freeway, i average 55 mph. 60+ mph in summer and i drive at 60 mph as well
