hello, i have and 04 and 05 prius. they both have over 200k miles on each.
Last Monday the 05 got backed into. Insurance give me $3500 for it. I wiped my tears with the check.

Anyways i am looking round for a new whip. Possibly the used PLUG IN or big Prius v (lowercase v for the Prius v wagon). I love how Toyota put so many optional equipments in the Prius (key less entry/start...) Money well spent.

Yes, i am a newbie so here is the questions.

Can the plug in Prius be driven exclusively on electric power? I also notice the big Prius (Prius v (lowercase v for the Prius v wagon)) costs more and has less MPG. Why would i want to pay more to get less? Also why is the Priuc C priced more than regular Prius? It is smaller and

If you know who is selling a decent used Prius, let me know.

PS: i also own a Tesla Model S

The v has huge cargo room and a wider back seat. If you don't need those, the lift back is a better choice.

Unless "easier to park" is high on your list, you can ignore the c.

yes, the plug in can be driven in ev only under most circumstances. we average 10-15 miles per charge, and the engine does not start like the non plug in, until you run out of wall charge.

there are some caveats. for a full description, go to the plug in forum and read the sticky faq.

i love prius too, all the best with your decision!(y)
