    Airbag may not go off but in an accident that pvc and whatever is holding it together will likely snap and your TV is going to be a big heavy object shattering apart ricocheting around shedding glass, plastic, and metal chunks all over the passenger compartment right at head and chest level. You are not going to have a good time.

    For some CAD work is a TV that useful? Why not a larger laptop with a higher resolution screen and higher refresh rate? I've used 1080p TV's as a 2nd monitor for my PC at home and it's bigger but a tv is not a great monitor other than watching video. A laptop you can pull out and put away and it'll fit on a laptop tray
