I put Plug-in Prius tail lights on my gen 3 Prius!

    I couldn’t find anything on this, so I went ahead and bought some PiP tail lights from eBay and installed them earlier this morning. The installation was smooth and everything works perfectly![​IMG]

    I like the look of the PiP’s tail lights. I’m also going to experiment on the old assemblies and see if I can take them apart to create a fiber optic look. :)

    I was actually expecting worse. :rolleyes:

    Of course that'd probably translate to around $350 (CDN) apiece, up here.

    Think I like our 2010's look better:

    The tweaking seems to be reducing the amount of red, more-and-more.

    Are these aftermarket PIP tail lights or OEM? I'm also looking for PIP tail lights, but I'm not sure how reliable the aftermarkets are since they're a lot cheaper.
