I assume you have the 2 Eco? I remember the 3 being more like a $1000 difference compared to the Two.

Try not to regret your choice, or it could spoil your future enjoyment. You may get another chance sometime.

Would like a brief tutorial on how to use some of the vehicle's features.

For my Gen 4 the salesman spent over 30 minutes doing just that. Not everyone buys from a Gen 1 Prius owner though.

You are not alone in wishing that! Some sales persons are sadly lacking in the basic knowledge when it comes down to specifics of a Prius.... and that's a much bewailed fact on here.

Especially if it your first new Prius. My salesman set my phone up so the bluetooth would connect before I left the dealership.
Some of the advanced features I am sure are quite intimidating, my car didn't come with that package but I wish it did.

My salesman was fresh from a course on the Gen 4 so he gave a pretty good briefing, but in the 4 months I had to wait for delivery I'd been studying at the "University of Prius Chat" and other publications. The anticipation made me an eager learner and I'm delighted to say, I'm still thrilled with my Prius after the first 21 months.

People who bought the Prime are upset because their car wasn't charged and ready to go but my Prius was on the showroom floor with a dead 12 Volt battery.
They asked me if I wanted to test drive it and I said no so I really didn't want any help from the dealer.

I hope you got a really large discount. It would not pass an inspection as roadworthy with a dead or failing battery.
They should have also either towed it for free or permitted you to store the car and repair it onsite.

The car was on the show room floor with a dead battery. I hadn't bought it yet and it is fairly common for cars on showroom floors to have a dead battery. This was a car they wanted to move, it was a left over 2016 and the 2018 were arriving and it was black. The salesman says black cars don't sell well. They had one more black car and it was also a 2016.

Indiana did away with their safety inspection back in the mid 70's, a real progressive state.

I was okay with not having the Three trim over the Two Eco, with that said, I did not know there was a Prius Prime for only $1k more, I thought they were in the $30k range only, I likely would have gotten it. Sigh...

I wish my dealer had a Prime to show us so that we could have compared it with the Prius Two also. They didn't even mention the existence of the Prime. For my part though, I will admit that I should have researched it before hand. I wouldn't say that it was an impulse buy as I had the chance to drive a generation 3 Prius a few years back and knew then that a Prius was going to be my next car. But, I'm very happy with the Prius Two and am getting between 62 and 67 MPG average over the first 1600 miles I've put on it so far.

Don't ever regret your choice! That will only spoil the future and taint the entire experience.
Anyway, 20/20 hindsight is pretty rare in most parts of the world! (y)

20/20 hindsight is very common. 20/20 foresight is rare.

My salesman told me to come here and search YouTube to learn how to use the vehicle and if I had any questions. HA HA HA. Thankfully I am resourceful but I was a little surprised I didn't get the AV 101 course.

"...20/20 hindsight is pretty rare..." I wasn't quite understanding what you were meaning by that, but I guess it was just a typo or multiple typos!

Lol! I know what 20/20 vision is, but I wasn't sure why you were saying in essence that good hindsight is pretty rare. I agree with Prodigyplace when he says, "20/20 hindsight is very common. 20/20 foresight is rare."
