    That's the ticket!
Be sure to do something ridiculous like tape a boat anchor to the side.

    No, no...not "That's A Ticket"....That's The Ticket, as in I think it's a great idea.

Wonder how long it would be before you ended up on youtube and/or 5 different automotive forums?

To clear up any confusion and from looking at online images of the 2016 Chevrolet Volt and comparing it to this disguised vehicle, it is NOT the 2016 Toyota Prius. Ex. Take a look at the rear passenger window and compare it to the new volt.

So you're saying it's the Volt?

Cause I'm looking at the FRONT door where it meets the A-pillar and it's not the Volt.

    • small window above mirrors that the 2016 Volt doesn't have
    • 2 vortex generators that the 2016 Volt doesn't have
    • Where the A-pillar meets the fender is diagonal at mirror height, the 2016 Volt's gap is vertical at the base of the A-pillar. This last one is hard to fake

Yeah you're probably right. After looking at what you said the Volt's gap is verticle and the 2016? Prius is diagonal. Though these two vehicles look similar even if one of them is in disguise. Both of the vehicles seem to be sculpted in the middle of the hood...

i think that's supposed to be the volt. i'm not expecting to be blown away by the new prius, anymore than the gen III blew away the gen II. but i hope i'm wrong, i'd rather be pleasantly surprised, than severely disappointed.

It's Not the 2016 Volt. The volt has already had its design debuted. There's no reason they would hide it under stealth garb while road testing. The 2016 Prius on the other hand....

Maybe it's a case of convergent evolution where both GM and Toyota have settled on the same basic shape for functional/aerodynamic purposes. Btw, what the heck is going on with the tail lights? Is it the return of fins?
