I thought my low beam was out and was ready to replace it
I turned the plug in its holder and it came back on I didn't touch the light
What happened and should I expect it to burn out soon in other words is it on it's way out?

    Thanks

At a glance, it sounds like there may have been an accumulation of dirt or oxidation where the metal parts of the bulb meet the car. In that particular case, moving the bulb could scrape things clean enough to restore the connection. Make sure the surfaces look bright and are staying dry. On rare occasions, a filament can break and allow a bulb to temporarily come back on when the broken ends bounce back into place.
