It's not the Advanced Model, it's a Premium.

Saturday morning, the Northeast USA is predicted to be below freezing. Sounds like an excellent time to replicate what was originally was reported. You might throw an electric blanket over the windshield so you won't have to defrost it.

Doesn't need to be electric. Got a frost and snow shield that does prevent most of the frost from forming. Spraying the glass with a 25% solution of vinegar is also suppose to prevent the formation of frost.

I need one of those covers, if only for the danged miniature leaves, sticks and the helicopter seeds from the maples which all love to accumulate right into the (bigger than the Gen3) holes that the wipers originate from.

Would also work for the frost and snow, which is every morning now since last week, as designed. Problem is, that I park 3 feet from the street, and it doesn't look like it can be secured from the thieves.

EDIT: Just read the part about the security flaps placed in the doorway. That seems to be a PITA to get just right, though.

so, it sounds like the outdoor garaging is the problem. i guess the battery warmer is useless or non existent.

That would be an oversimplification, since I park outside during the day in the same temperature with different results.

What about the difference between a 120 and a 240 connection?

a lot of people here have said that they park outside during the day. but if iirc, not one, in 450 posts has parked outside overnight in a similar climate to the o/p.

  14. What do you mean? I don't have a garage.

I don't have the option to choose between 120 or 240, the apartment I live in only offers 120

thanks, are your engine starting experiences in this thread?
are you charging L1 or L2?

  17. I haven't gone through the whole thread. As I said, I haven't had my engine just come on unless it's defroster.

I will occasionally use L2 at the car dealership, and I have not tried using an L1 anywhere.
