    When I had a PiP, there was no driving around 'cause I live halfway up a hill. When I drove up it in the cold, the ICE came on.

    OK, here's the latest. Completed the scheduled charging at 11:00 am, ICE did not kick in, so my conclusion is that ICE came on in my first post because I reached the 200 mile interval between ICE firings

    ok, maybe a couple of times:p I just get so paranoid when it happens I return to driving down the side streets that have a speed limit of 25 MPH. Then when I think it's safe to come out of the woods, BAM! ICE kicks in:mad:

    Today is March 9, 2017. It's been 11 days since the last ICE episode. Outside temperature 44 degrees F. Charge schedule 7:00 AM this morning departure time. No climate prep. Actual departure time was 10:45 am My AAA app was not on since February 22, 2017 so I was not able to get an accurate mileage report between February 26, 2017 (date of last ICE episode) But I'm pretty sure I haven't traveled 200 miles between ICE episodes. ( ICE maintenance interval):cry:

    i was hoping toy would install a countdown timer on the ice maint. firing schedule, so you would have a clue when it was about to come on, and not be in the middle of a full throttle ev event.

    Ok, so it's not ICE management. It's been one day (yesterday) and ICE kicked in again today only thing different that I did was turn on Climate, no front defroster just climate. Outside temperature on dashboard 28 degrees F. Recorded temperature in Clawson Michigan 24 degrees F. Charged immediately yesterday. Left it plugged in till my trip today.

    It might help for it to stay in EV mode to have the climate control in ECO mode.

    Doesn't matter. Toyota uses the term "air conditioning" for both heating and cooling.

    On the Prime Premium and Advanced, the button is on the bottom of your climate control panel on the touchscreen.
