Ideal price tag for a 2012 Prius Three

    I am new to this forum and the Prius scene but is planning on purchasing my very first Prius sometimes soon and is shopping around out there for the better model with the better price. I was wondering what have people gotten for the best deal on a Prius Three with Sunroof and Solar power equipped? just got back from the dealer shop and the sales person (who was being an nice person) priced a base prius 3 with nav/no sunroof for 25 close to 26g and priced one with sunroof and solar power for 28g!..i thought he was a bit crazy on that price tag..

    I also got a Prius II priced at 23g after tax and all.. is that a good deal? or can the price be negotiated more?

    Let me know what you guys have gotten for these two models... the wife wants a II due to its cheaper in price but im trying to convince her to go with a Three if i can get a decent price for a Three :D

    The prius II u got quoted for $23k seems to be a real deal considering it's out the door price. I thought I bought my II at a pretty good deal at the time when I got it for $25k. Btw, where is exactly your location as your tax rate may be considerably different from ours(CA.).

    thanks for the info...anyone know what a prius 3 with solar roof option would run for with a really good deal? or what did you guys pay for your 3 with solar power option..and for those with a base 3..whats the deal yall got on it?

    Wow that's freaking awesome! Agreed! Please share how you got that price..you do mean the Prius III correct? Is your with the solar roof package or without?

    I got my 2012 pruis III/3 (without sunroof) for $23,688.00 before tax, lic and doc fees. I sold my trade in privately so that was not part of the deal. There is a thread about what people paid for their prius'

    click on the "style" box and change to the model type you want...

    it will give an approximate range for pricing.

    If I may be so bold - get a white Prius if you can - they are easier to repaint and do body work on.

    The Trucar.com prices seem to be pretty accurate. I checked them with another source. I'm planning to use them to try to negotiate a deal on a 2012.

    I'm not sure about the "white" color. It's a three step process, and after searching the threads on Blizzard Pearl, a lot of people have had problems with touch-up and body work. Also, it's a premium price. Some have even said the bumpers don't match the car body when it was delivered. Hopefully that's not true any more.

    Roman numerals were only for designating packages in 2010.

    Anyone with a 2011, 2012 etc has a Prius Two, Three, Four or Five.

    I want to stress this since so many people in this thread and across the board may not know.
