    The thing that you most need to get from school now is: out. :D

    I think that there are a couple of things to learn from the Ted Streleski story:

    1. Beating your advisor with a ball-peen hammer is not justifiable no matter how much they might deserve it.

    2. If you know a guy named Ted who is trying to get a PhD in Mathematics, you might want to keep your eye on him.
