Logistics have been advancing rapidly as of yesterday. I'll be picking up my Model 3 as soon as this Thursday if I can resolve a scheduling conflict, otherwise it will be next week. I have received my VIN. I will be wiring payment on Monday. I will be eligible for the full $7500 Federal tax credit (much to the chagrin of Agent Orange in the W.H.). I will be getting 6 months of free Supercharger use thanks to @Zythryn. Normally I will charge at home and will have little use for the Supercharger system, but I will take an extended tour during the first six months as a shake down cruise and really learn the car's systems.

Thank you Elon for honoring your commitments to me. Model 3's are seen everywhere in California now. The FUTURE is at hand.

It is uncertain at this time what will happen to our PIP. We really don't need a second car, especially one that needs gasoline on a regular basis. We have been getting along just fine with one car for the last two years with no inconvenience. It will be interesting to see what the PIP is worth at Carmax. Time will tell.

I understand you're in California. I have relatives there so perhaps someday.
