I just want to call attention to some new PiP incentives as you gotta move while PiP1 is available.
See the sticky thread on Federal and State Incentives later posts.

California: Hill already kindly mentioned the CA CVRP $1500 now phases out over $250000 income, but I am not sure if Hill mentioned the the benefit apparently Double$!! in lower income cases. Presumably some retired folks in CA could be managing their retirement income such as to qualify. Check me on this.

Delaware: Has added PHEV incentive ~$2000 looks like applies to PiP we need feedback from DE customer.
hope DE is not like TX where PiP is unobtainium despite the incentives.

South Carolina: Possibly some temporary stealth unadvertised incentives (legal loophole). Maybe even regular Prius hybrids previously bought. In addition , SC I believe may have PHEV incentives.

PiP deserves more incentive as it achieves lower emission by higher efficiency, not higher battery capacity.
