So, I just got back from two long road trips this past month, one up to MA (2,300 miles) and the other to NJ (1,800 miles). The day after I got back, I'm hearing a significant increase in road noise that seems to be coming from the front wheels.

I know it's not the engine, since it doesn't matter whether the engine is running or not, but it seems to get louder the faster I go. I can barely hear any increased noise at speeds below 30 mph, though.

Any ideas on what this could be?

You could start troubleshooting by rotating the tires and see if the noise moves. Also give everything a good inspection with the wheels off the vehicle.

What tires, and how many miles on them?

They're 15" Yokohama Avid Ascend tires, about 20,000 miles on them (based on dealer records)
