I vaguely remember the Ideal Gas Law Equation that is something like pV=RT ; where p is pressure, V is volume, T is temperature and R is the ideal gas law constant. If you can estimate these perameters and the constant, you'll have your answer.

Alternatively, you can over inflate your tires at the gas station on the way home. Then let a little air out of each tire when you check them the next morning, when they are cold.

Yr probably right--20 minutes for 4 tires is prob. a combination of me letting the tires get down 2 low and something wimpy or leaking in the air pump.
So probably the answer is get a new hand or foot pump.

Chevron is one holdout (maybe the only?) in our area still offering free air. For me it's dead simple: any time we're tanking up at the outset of a trip, when the tires are still relatively cool, I'll check and top them up as needed.
