Installed some HIDS on my '10 Prius

    I installed the Xenon Supply HID kit, 4300k. The ballast wires are actually not as long as in the instruction video, so I am not able to install it behind the panel as shown. I just stick the driver's side ballast on the fuse box cover.

    I've been running HIDs for about 2 1/2 years. A recent collision enabled me to inspect the light internals and I found no evidence of deterioration, clouding etc. the projector glass was clean and clear.

    I stuck mine on the inverter.

    Did you go with Relay or canbus kit ? I am debating if I really need to go with Relay kit ?

    I am planning on using 50W morimoto ballast, I just ordered them, didn't realize while ordering them about the heat.
    How is 55w ddm ballast running ?, any signs of heat trouble?
    I would appreciate your reply back.
