This is the system that memorizes stop signs etc and tells you when to release the accelerator to optimize efficiency and regeneration. Is anybody using this? How is it working? Useful? How far out does it tell you to release the pedal?

Keep in mind it's available on Premium and Advanced trim levels only.

It advises you via the HSI's Eco Accelerator Guide (the blue bar).

It also does light regenerative braking.

    Ok, go.

Is that why the GPS tracks all my movements with those dots in the nav?

I'm not aware of this feature.

Will have to read more about it.

The dots may be from Route Trace. See Navigation Manual page 215. This function is helpful to me because I have no sense of direction AND Toyota navigation map lacks small country roads in our local area. When I venture out to new places that are not on the map, I can trace back to where the unknown started.

The Predictive Efficient Drive (Predictive Deceleration Support) is on page 213~ 214. You need to turn it on in Map Information if you want your Prime to remember your driving associated with your regular routes. Once you turn this on, you will start seeing green leaf markers along your regularly driven routes. I have not felt it helpful to me as the traffic condition differs depending on the time of the day.
