Interest in Gen-1 accelerator assembly?

    I was approached a week ago about the "big hand" syndrome. After replying, silence. However, I did find an accelerator assembly left over from my earlier work. An exchange unit, it probably needs rebuilding. Regardless, it is of no use to me.

    If anyone wants it, PM with a shipping address. Once you get it, PayPal the shipping and we're good.

    I won't rebuild it (actually clean the contacts and retension the brushes) but I will share the technology.

    I have a 2002 Prius which seems to have the Big Hand Syndrome but here in Romania they would not
    dare to rebuild an accelerator assembly.
    so i bought the part but am not sure this is what i need:

    '01-03 Toyota Prius G1 Gas Accelerator Pedal Assembly 78010-47090 A36 OEM'
    can a regular mechanic install it ?
    i am just a Toyota driver with this problem that no one knows what it is, went to 4 different Toyota dealers in
    Romania, they have no idea... i might have to drive to Hungary... :)
