    Please re-review post #33 where I said what I was planning on doing from a timing perspective. I have been out of town and haven't been able to follow-up on this. I need to talk with Mauro and see how best to accommodate all the various flavors of what people want. It would have been much easier if we all wanted the same thing, but I certainly do understand the different needs.

    I am also going to get details on how the shipping will work --- seeing if we can get each order shipped separately.

    The Proxel units do not interface with the MFD display (at least not at this time)

    The unit most seem interested in is the EPS-DUAL FRONT with the free DAM software upgrade for always on operation.

    A couple have expressed interested for both FRONT and REAR units.

    Good news --- Proxel can ship to individual addresses for only 3 euros more, making the total for the EPS-DUAL FRONT a total of 75 euros shipped. :)

    I have asked for a special group buy code so we can order individually via paypal. I will let you know when I hear back from Mauro on that.

    I introduced the Proxel device information and links to these boards on May 2nd here http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-iii...stalled-front-parking-camera.html#post1545295 after my April 15 and 16 emails with Mauro Del Signore of Proxel (Italy) and Laura of Parking Dynamics (England).

    I've not yet gotten around to deciding which of the two options I want to commit to.

    I got an email from Mauro saying he has made the software mod on the ECU and will be shipping the unit tomorrow. Anyone have instructions on how to remove the front bumper?

    I don't think you have to remove the front bumper, just the black panel on the bottom just behind the bumper. Assuming you're putting the antenna in the lower lip like I will. BTW, I got the word that mine shipped today Priority Mail.

    If you don't remove the front bumper, how are you planning on drilling the hole to get through the engine compartment? And if you aren't planning on doing that, how will you be planning on mounting the ECU and then the speaker and/or display indicator? Just curious...

    There's no problem going from the lower bumper to the engine compartment. You'll have to look for yourself. I ran my fog light wiring across the inside of the lower bumper lip from the fuse box in the engine compartment. I'm guessing I'll mount the ECU up front near the bumper, probably from underneath on the driver's side, then I'll run the speaker wires along the same path as I used for my fog lights. There's a rubber plug in the firewall behind the driver's side of the engine and to the lower left of the master cylinder (as you look at the engine) that can be used for the pass-thru. I'll put the speaker somewhere under the dash, probably near the pass-thru.
