I think you guys are right about the Prius.

We seem to be going political in this discourse.

But its OK!

Hybrid and electric cars, and the aggressive move now by car companies worldwide to more renewables, would sure cause a whole lot of negative impacts down the gas chain.

OPECs monopoly, and even Russia's bullying using oil as a bargaining chips, is gradually non existent.

I wished the Ukrainians, and most of the Baltic countries would invest in such technologies too.

Meanwhile, Nigeria, because of its over reliance on crude oil, has being worst hit by the sudden fall in oil prices in the international market, thanks to the USA discovering the shale technology thingy.

Aprt from the shale oil discovery, the biggest hindrance to harnessing it, would be those dire hard environmentalist..

So, I just hope Nigeria, and Africa at large, even Venezuela, would diversify its revenue base to other sectors of the economy.
