Inverter cooling pump supply.

    Looking at the wiring diagram for the inverter coolant pump, and given that if the pump goes short circuit it blows it's fuse.

    The same fuse supplies the power distribution ECU so this then shuts down the car. Surely it makes sense from a safety point of view to move the pump to a separate fuse.

    A warning light in parallel with the fuse would give warning of failure, and the car would continue to operate as normal so that you could pull over safely.
