I was driving home. I already got into the residential. Upon one stop sign, I decided to step on the gas a bit to see the acceleration. It did go up not exceeding 3,000 rpm. Suddenly a Check Hybrid System went up. I'm glad that this didn't happen at highway ramp. Pulled over and found out I got some of these codes I screenshotted. I called the dealer but the service department is not open for calls on Sunday. Did a bit of research and it was a potential inverter faulty. Keep in mind that about 3 to 4 months ago, I got the update which was supposed to prevent this sort of problem. Until today, I'd never really tried to accelerate quick. Also note that it wasn't like I floored it (even though it shouldn't have any problem even if I floored it).

Update: I did a bit of research and found out about the ZE3 extended warranty. It says that the warranty will cover any Prius made from 2009 to 2014 (IIRC) as long as it's younger than 15 years old. Since mine is 10 years old, I truly wish I can get this one.

Hoe did you come up with no more than 3000 rpm?

This. I was trying out this Zus OBDII that I got for free (just paid $8 shipping. That highest was, IIRC, when I was driving up a bridge or something like that where I needed a bit of accel. That was like a gradual step up (in like 5 secs).

    Update:
This is the most beautiful news I've ever had aside from getting my confession accepted: The problem is COVERED under ZE3 extended warranty. Apparently some modules or so they say (IPM part) was found to be broken and will have to be replaced. They mentioned something about back-order, so it'll take a while before the part comes. When it does come, it will take two days to fix. They updated me with this to make sure I'm ok with the time they can provide. All in all, I was so glad that I didn't have to pay a single penny for it. Now I just have to manage for my commute to college back and forth.

Ask for a Prime as a loaner;).

If they have the XLE or Limited trim, you'll get to see the large screen you were looking for when mine was at the meet up(y).

I’m going to do this also so I can get a new inverter. Hopefully Toyota doesn’t know about this cool scam and phase out this replacement deal quick hehe.

    Another update:

The part came yesterday morning, and the repair is done by now. It took them 1 day to fix after the part comes. They also apparently notice a coolant leak (caused by the mechanics working on my head gasket last time). Toyota will give the quote for that so that should back me up when I go back to that mechanic along with some pics from @Raytheeagle.

    Final update:

Here is the receipt that includes parts being replaced...

Yeah, apparently there was an error saying unrecognized id or something like that. I'll try again. See if it works.

I've been thinking about that, around the 12 year mark, when doing the spark plugs. (y)
