I moddet my prius v and add qi charging to the center console.
By sharing I hope to insipre other Prius drivers.

On the front of the center console there is a flat spot.
Using a opening tool I removed the plastic part.
Ones I got it loose I took it inside to work on it.
I tested the best spot for the QI charger using a 3S lipo. Once I found Sweet spot I used a knife to make shure the QI coils were as close to the plastic surface as posible. I installed the PCB using a hot glue gun.
Using a multimeter to check the 12v line from the 12v socket, it measured 14v witch was no problem for the QI charger, it can handle 12 to 24volt.
I needed to cut the wire of the 12v socket to add the QI charger. I used heatshrink tubes that contain tin to make a nice solder joint.
As you can see in the video the phone in charing in any directory. This is because i used a 3 coil charger.

That is pretty slick. What did you use/where did you get the charging unit?

Very cool. It is a mod I'm interesting in doing myself. My V is 2017 so slightly different.
