iPhone Contacts & Favorites

I have a premium and have noticed the contact download from my iPhone 7 is random, sometimes it works and other times it shows no contacts, but the phone works. Also the voice recognition only works about half the time when the contacts do load. I'll say call "contact name" and it comes up with something not even close, then other times it's spot on. When everything does work it'll be fine until I power down and restart and then its a flip of a coin whether it will work.

The other thing I can't seem to figure out is the favorites. It doesn't load the iPhone contact favorites, and when I mark several downloaded contacts as favorites, as soon as I restart the car the list is always empty again. Anyone else seeing this behavior?
